White Sulphur Springs

  • Free

A Forest Service bathhouse and public-use cabin on Bertha Bay, on the outer coast of Chichagof Island in the West Chichagof-Yakobi Wilderness, about 65 miles northwest of Sitka. Boaters anchor at Mirror Harbor and walk a fairly level 0.9-mile trail, or skiff in from Porcupine Bay. The cabin sleeps four and is reserved on Recreation.gov.

USFS says the bathhouse reopened after temporary stabilization that keeps it safe for the next 3-5 years.
