Hot Springs Resort & Spa
- From $50
- 54 min from Asheville
- Reservations required
North Carolina's only hot springs resort, on the banks of Spring Creek and the French Broad River in the Appalachian Trail town of Hot Springs. Natural hot mineral water is piped to private outdoor tubs rented by the hour for up to five people, each drained and cleaned after every use. The resort is rebuilding after Hurricane Helene destroyed most of its tubs and lodging in 2024, so fewer tubs and rooms are available.
Rebuilding after Hurricane Helene (Sept 2024): fewer tubs and rooms open, and the campground is still being repaired. Call ahead.
